Snowgum was seeking to partner with a creative digital agency, with both strategic and tactical expertise, to enhance their brand and help manage their customer relationships via the web. They required a new site redesign, including a full service online store, and sought to develop community around their loyalty program, Snowgum Club. In addition Snowgum were keen to explore various opportunities to enhance the Snowgum brand in the digital arena.
Clean, uncluttered, with style a–plenty
The cornerstone of Snowgum's digital marketing strategy was the development of a full service online store that was both functional and attractive. With a catalogue of over 1000 items, that change seasonally, it was mandatory any proposed e–commerce solution include the ability to easily update and add to the site. It was also required that the site present a clean and uncluttered interface design (in accordance with Snowgum brand values) to maximise usability and to create a positive brand experience.
A powerful CMS solution to bring it all together
August developed a full service e–commerce enabled online store using the in-house developed Minotaur CMS (Content Management System) as a platform. Known for its clean and attractive interface, ease of updating content, and ability to integrate with business processes, Minotaur offered the perfect solution. August also developed an email marketing solution to build loyalty amongst Snowgum Club Members and to prompt them with special offers and seasonal promotions.
